The 5th Global Public Health Conference 2022 (GLOBEHEAL 2022) was held from 24th โ 25th of February in Virtual Platform under the theme โFuture of Global Health in a Changing World.โ The conference was organized by The International Institute of Knowledge Management (TIIKM), Sri Lanka and hosted by the International Association on Public Health (IAPH) with the University of Cyberjaya, Malaysia. Universidad De Murcia, Spain, RAK Medical & Health Sciences University, UAE, and Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences, India collaborated with the GLOBEHEAL 2022 as the Academic Partners.
The conference united diverse researches and case studies from all over the world, in parallel sessions while offering many networking and publishing opportunities. Moreover, the conference welcomed 100+ participants from 25+ ๐๐ข๐๐๐๐ซ๐๐ง๐ญ ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐ญ๐ซ๐ข๐๐ฌ across the globe.
The opening remarks of GLOBEHEAL 2022 were made by Mr. Isanka P. Gamage (Co-Founder & Managing Director โ The International Institute of Knowledge Management (TIIKM), Sri Lanka) and the Conference Chair, Prof. Dr. Wong Li Ping from University of Malaya, Malaysia. A guest speech was delivered by Dr. Chandana Gajanayake, Deputy Director of National Hospital of Sri Lanka, Ministry of Health, Sri Lanka and Deputy President of Public Health in TIIKM, Dr. Raman Preet from Umeรฅ University, Sweden also addressed the gathering. Representing the hosting partner university, Dr. Hassan Basri Jahubar Sathik from University of Cyberjaya, Malaysia addressed the gathering. A keynote address was delivered by Dr. Shu-Jen Lu, O.T.L., Vice President of the World Federation for Mental Health (Asia Pacific Region), Taiwan, and was titled “The Psychological Impact and Resilience of the Covid-19 Pandemic.” Rose Felix Cratsley, Founder and CEO of IVY Child International from the United States also delivered a Keynote Speech.
GLOBEHEAL 2022 consisted of over 100+ participants from 25+ countries around the world, including Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Sweden, Thaiwan, Hong Kong, India, Portugal, Estonia, Vietnam, Kazakhstan, Nigeria, USA, Thailand, Poland, Kenya, Timor- Leste,ย Turkey, United Kingdom, Australia, Japan, China, Indonesia, UAE, and Israel. The Conference provided an opportunity for participants to share their valuable knowledge from various perspectives. This conference had representation from almost every continent and regions across the world, to share views and ideas on Public Health and network with international colleagues.
GLOBEHEAL 2022 comprised of fourteen (14) Technical Sessions and One Poster Session. The Technical Sessions were under the below themes:
